Aren't they seriously SO cute?!?!?!?!?
They were SO easy to do! I got the idea from The Speckled Dog.
I already had the birdhouses from another project I never got to in October...and I already had the candle stick holders...so I knew I HAD to make them!
I started with spray painting my candle stick holders. I bought mine at good will and they looked like this...
Those nasty gold looking things...they sure look much better I would say! I got them for 99 cents each at the famous....GOODWILL :)!
The birdhouses you can find at a craft store. I found mine at Micheal's for $1 each....
YEP A GOOD OLE BUCK EACH!
I started to paint the roof and bases white...painted the houses a pastel pink, yellow and blue.
Then...I sanded the edges a little...
Pulled out my trusty stain and would put a coat on and wipe it off to get the distressed look...
Used E6000 glue to glue them onto their stands and you get....The cutest pink house ever!!
The cutest yellow house ever!!
And the cutest blue house ever!
Now...I will say...you can get the birdhouses already on stands at Micheal's for $2 each...
I just happened to have everything to just make them!
So...better go quick I know they don't have many left at my store!!
Happy birdhouse making...send me a link if you make them! I would love to see!!
