Eight is Great

For those wanting to know what we did for "Eight is Great" here it all is....

Get ready...their are a lot of pics....

We had two tables set up in the front of the room. One had pics of those who were baptized last year as well as scout books, activity day projects, programs and baptism books...
Here is a close up of the baptism guide/journal book and the programs...The book has all the information parents would need to help plan the day as well as papers the children can fill out with how they felt, who was there, and pictures of the day.

The food table looked SOOOO cute! We went with the primary colors and wanted a fun birthday theme to get the kids excited for their upcoming birthday!

Here is the banner we hung at the front...

We cut a lot of little 8's to put on the table as confetti.....
We made figure eight cookies as a center piece. Each of the kids turning 8 each got one. I found this idea on SugarDoodle. It shows you on there how to make the cookie cutter out of a plastic cup. It really works and is SO easy!
I took the top of a wooden spoon and twisted it around and around to get all the dough out of the two holes for the middle of the eights.

We made little cupcake toothpicks for each cupcake that had an "8" on it.

The primary president found these adorable place mats and I just added vinyl to them :)!
Have I mentioned I REALLY love vinyl?

And here is pictures of the table put together....

It was a fun evening to be with all those little ones! It all came together nicely and was such a fun event to be a part of! Just as a small disclaimer...I did NOT do all this myself! I serve in a great presidency and together with did all this!

Isn't it great to be eight?
