Well....the final days are here! Are you ready?!?!?!?
Part of my heart is so sad this is Christmas week! It has been a wonderful season and probably one of my favorite years! The kids are all old enough to enjoy this season!
Perhaps...this year my heart is full with the service I have seen others do!
How can we not love this time of year when everyone is drawing closer to the Savior? That feeling in the air of giving is just wonderful!
Well....speaking of giving I want to share our neighbor gifts with you. It is a tradition every year to make Christmas Popcorn...aka....colored popcorn.
I started with bagging the green....
Then added the red...don't you love it?
And the finished product! Don't you love it?
The best part?.......You could make this for any occasion....ANY color :)
Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
1/4 cup oil
few drops food coloring (more coloring=darker color)
Put sugar, oil, kernels, and food coloring in a stove popper and stir until popped. Spread out on tinfoil and pick the seeds out...bag and your done!
Yep THAT IS IT! EASY PEASY!
