Question For All Crafters

So here is the question I pose today. I REALLY need some feed back. I have this philosophy with doing crafts. It is my C.A.R.E. philosophy. Copy. And. Repeat. Everything. Being a crafter I love to get ideas from the web. So, if I see something that I LOVE and know I can do...can I always use the C.A.R.E. philosophy? What are your thoughts?

  1. I say go for it. I very rarely come up with crafts all by myself. I definitely subscribe to the C.A.R.E. philosophy.

  2. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. You can take any of my ideas anytime ;-)

  3. That is a very good question! I think there are very few completely original ideas out there. (I have been thinking about this a lot lately and am working on a post about it) We ALL draw inspiration from somewhere! And anything that is handmade will always be a one of a kind anyway.
    Keep on keepin on!

  4. I have been so inspired by the many creative people online. I C.A.R.E often. I have a lil' notebook by my computer that I use to record many craft ideas. My mind is constantly thinking about what I've already seen that I like so that I can do it myself w/my own personal twist. I also have a small inexpensive photo album w/the clear plastic sleeves; I cut out ideas that I can copy/personalize & put them in the lil' album to look through & be inspired. I think we all copy each other in some form or another. I am mindful of copyrights, but most things on these wonderful blogs are posted for the readers inspiration.
